Peruskurssit 2026

Seuraavat peruskurssit alkavat tammikuussa 2026!

Kendon peruskurssi järjestetään seitsemän kerran intensiivikurssina; iaidon ja jodon peruskurssit kestävät huhtikuun loppuun. Kaikkien peruskurssien päätteeksi järjestetään vyökoe eli graduointi, jossa suoritettavan 6.kyu:n vyöarvon jälkeen pääsee osallistumaan kaikkiin lajin harjoituksiin.

    • Aika: keskiviikko klo 19:00-20:30, 15.1.2026 alkaen
    • Paikka: Lintuvaaran koulu

Mitä mukaan?

Verryttelyasu (esim. T-paita ja kokopitkät urheiluhousut) riittää varusteiksi -- muut välineet saa peruskurssin ajan seuralta.

Mitä maksaa?

Peruskurssin hinta on 120 euroa (sisältää Lebudon jäsenyyden), ja yhdellä maksulla voi osallistua vaikka kaikkien kolmen lajin kursseille! Lisäksi tarvitaan vielä Kendoliiton peruskurssilisenssi (50 euroa), joka sisältää myös aseelliset budolajit kattavan vakuutuksen koko peruskurssin ajalta. Yhteensä osallistuminen kustantaa siis 170 euroa ellei Kendoliiton lisenssiä ole entuudestaan.

Sopiiko lajit lapsille?

Lebudossa ei ole lapsille sopivia harjoituksia. Suosittelemme lajien aloittamiseen n. 15 vuoden ikää, mutta etenkin huoltajan kanssa osallistumisessa myös nuorempien on ollut helppo osallistua. Mikäli olet epävarma, ota rohkeasti yhteyttä!

Varsinainen ilmoittautuminen on kaksiosainen, koska peruskurssille tarvitaan liiton peruskurssilisenssi:

3. Valitse laji: iaido, jodo tai kendo (ensimmäinen laji/lisenssi riittää, vaikka osallistuisit monelle kurssille)
4. Valitse lisenssi: "FKA Peruskurssilisenssi"

Beginner's courses 2026

The next beginner's courses start in January 2026! Teaching is given also in English when needed!

The basic course in kendo will be held as a seven-session intensive course; the courses in iaido and jōdo will last until the end of April. At the end of all beginner's courses, there will be a belt test, or grading, where after completing the 6th kyu lebel, you will be able to participate in all types of training.

  • Iaido:
    • Time: Mondays 19:30-21:00, starting January 19, 2026
    • Location: Kilo School
    • Instructor: Kari Häyrinen, 4.dan
  • Jodo:
    • Time: Wednesdays at 19-20:30, starting January 15, 2026
    • Location: Lintuvaara School
    • Instructor: Konrad Okrój, 3rd dan

More detailed arrival information and instructions will be sent for the registered before the first practice session.

What to bring?

Exercise clothes (e.g., T-shirt and loose full-length pants) are sufficient equipment -- other equipment will be provided by the club during the basic course.

How much does it cost?

The basic course costs €120 (includes Lebudo membership), and allows you to participate even in all three courses! In addition, you will need a Finnish Kendo Association beginner' course license (€50), which also includes insurance covering armed martial arts for the entire duration of the basic course. The total cost of participation is therefore €170 if you do not already have a FKA license.

Are these sports suitable for children?

Lebudo does not offer training suitable for children. We recommend a minimum starting age of around 15 years, but there is flexibility especially when joining the course with a parent or a guardian. If you are unsure, don't hesitate to contact us!

How do I register?

To register, you need a SuomiSport account: https://info.suomisport.fi/

The actual registration is in two parts, because the Kendo Association lisense is needed for the beginner's course:

Obtain a basic course license from the Kendō Association (FKA)
NOTE! Licence for 2026 will be available in January 2026!
1. Go to SuomiSport and purchase a license
2. Search for the product "License/game pass or license/game pass with insurance"
3. Select the sport: iaido, jodo or kendo (the first sport/license is sufficient, even if you participate in multiple courses)
4. Select the license: "FKA Beginner's Course License"

Then register for the Lebudo basic course
1. Go to SuomiSport basic course registration
2. Register for the basic courses you want to take
